Business on Parade

$60.00$100.00

This piece is a satire on how business people are generally unaware of the emotional world around them. They simply drive right over the true spiritual essence of our existence without even taking notice of the road. It is also symbolic of how our daily routine and rituals can actually keep us from being fully aware and in the present. The German Panther tank treads are harkening back to the original roots of the VW. It was the “People’s Car” car for Germany, the wind up key in the back is to assure the viewer that this is a visual pun and not to take things to seriously.

Unique to all these drawings is their method of execution.
These are all stippled (pointillism) drawings using a rapid-o-graph pen on illustration board. Needless to say they take a very long time, but I truly enjoy the process. The actual prints are around half size of the originals and are printed on 100% archival quality acid free rag paper and each one is signed by myself with a HB pencil and indicated as a A/P (artist’s proof).
