Life’s Journey

This is the journey of life with all its pitfalls and celebrations coming together in a series of chronological spirals. Like life’s journey, this painting evolved into its own by experimentation with techniques that led to its own conclusion. The reductive approach in painting is used, painting over areas and then gently polishing through the over-paint to reveal the past layers. With very fine sandpaper, the effect is polished and then masked and repainted. This was the beginning of a new approach for me that I continue to explore. I enjoy seeing this painting displayed in the home of a very good friend.

These original painting prints are printed on 100 percent archival quality, in full color, on acid free rag paper, signed by the artist with an HB pencil and indicated as A/P (artist’s proof.)
